I am an experienced personal trainer who operates out of a private gym in Midtown East, Manhattan.


What is my approach to training/body image?

My philosophy is pretty simple, if you want to be stronger, you have to push yourself and lift weights, if you want to lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you consume. If you want to be healthy, you need to eat well. Combine nutrition and exercise for a healthy body. It is that simple.
If you don't want to give up food or beer or ice cream, or whatever it is, that's fine. I can still help you become stronger, firmer and healthier. You can still go out on a Friday night and have a steak and wine or whatever you fancy. You get out of it, what you put into it. In my gym, you get to focus.

My clients get results. If you would like to work with a qualified personal trainer with 10 plus years experience and the location works for you, come on in and give it a try. It's a private studio, so no crowds + no waiting = serious results in a shorter time period.

The Actual Workout
I use specialized weight training equipment to efficiently exhaust muscle groups for strength gain and toning. It doesn't take a long time, but it isn't easy.

Each training session incorporates a series of exercises at 60-90 seconds each. Constant tension, no rest. Safe. Effective. Results Oriented. There is no guessing involved, each workout is measured and you can see your chart and the weights, so there is a clear indication of strength increases, week after week, month after month.

Whereas traditional weight training involves 12-20 reps at fast speed, I prefer having my clients slowly and safely raise and lower the weight within 60-90 seconds – it’s not the reps, but the constant tension on the muscles, coupled with MedX machines designed specifically for this workout that deliver superior results.

If you'd prefer to, we can workout with free weights, kettlebells, TRX etc. If you need to improve flexibility, we can work on that.

Again, high intensity, shorter workout, better results. Lower Intensity, longer workout, slower results.  Your call. Your body.

You are the client. You train to get results for you, not me. I give you the tools and you use them to the best of your ability.
